Welcome to our Adoption Auction
Thank you for stopping by and looking around. We have many items up for bid and appreciate your willingness to help us with our adoption costs by bidding on the items.
Bidding will open on March 1 at 8 a.m. Bidding will close on March 8 at 8 p.m. All items will have a starting bid amount listed. To bid on an item leave a comment with your name and the amount of your bid. The next bidder leaves a new comment with an increased bid of at least $1. Whomever has the highest bid at the close of the auction will win the item.
VERY IMPORTANT!!! Please take time to read the information that accompanies each item up for auction. Some items have very specific stipulations as to how or when they may be claimed and used. We do not want our generous donors to be asked to change the stipulations of their donation because someone ends up buying something that isn't exactly what they wanted. (For example: A portrait package for a two hour summer photo shoot for up to six people should not be bid on by a person wanting to photograph their entire extended family in the Fall.) Thank you for taking the time to carefully read the details about each item you are bidding on.
At the close of the auction we will contact each winner via email. (Do we have yours? If not you will need to send it to us at sevenfromhaiti@yahoo.com) We will make arrangements for delivery and payment the weekend of March 12. We are happy to ship items to out of county winners, but please include additional shipping costs at time of payment. Payments will only be taken in the form of cash or a check made out to Lifesong for Orphans. 100% of your winning bid will be deposited into our adoption fund through Lifesong and may have the opportunity to be applied to a MATCHING GRANT award, once our grant applications are processed.

Up for bid is a four-night getaway at the beautiful Stoneridge Resort in Blanchard, Idaho. Stoneridge Resort is about an hour drive from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and is surrounded by a breathtaking golf course. The resort has 146 condominiums, a 24,000 square foot recreation center with a large indoor pool, spa, and gymnasium with organized activities and classes. It also has a new state of the art mini golf course, and a beautiful park with picnic pavilion and tennis courts. The resort sits on approximately 11 acres of land, and is within an hour of several major ski resorts including Silver Mountain, Schweitzer, Lookout Pass, Mt. Spokane, and 49 Degrees North. Stoneridge Resort is the perfect place to take your family or friends to relax, play golf, swim, ski and play together.
The winning bidder will receive a four-night getaway in a studio unit that sleeps up to 4 people (Queen bed plus a hide-a-bed). Each unit has a kitchenette so you can prepare your own meals if you like, or you can eat out at the wonderful restaurant on site. This package must be booked for a Monday-Thursday between September and April (based on availability), and must be booked by March of 2012. The winner of this auction item will contact Marsha Anderson (Aumony’s Mom) to arrange for booking their stay at Stoneridge Resort. CPR & First Aid Class From Safety First
Up for bid is a First Aid/CPR class for up to 12 people, in the month of June 2011. This class will be a 4 to 4.5 hours class that includes books. This is a great opportunity to gather your friends, family, neighbors, or even your children's babysitter to learn the life saving elements of first aid and CPR. Many businesses hire Safety First to certify their staff. It often costs around $50.00 a person to complete a CPR class.
Each person who completes this class will be certified for 2 years in First Aid and Infant, Child, & Adult CPR. You will receive a wallet card accepted by DSHS and Labor & Industries in Washington State, and internationally.
